energy and harmony, naturally

When someone performs an intense activity, whether physical or intellectual, he/she will feel tired at the end of the day.  This is absolutely normal.  Our body, brain and muscles included, uses energy: it needs to rest in order to replenish its energy sources.

After a good night’s sleep, one should feel good and rested.  Our sleep would have been quiet and uninterrupted, between 6 and 9 hours depending on the person, and we would get up in good shape and full of energy.

If we feel tired, unwell, without energy or sick when we get up in the morning, this means that we’re going through a period of unbalance which provokes physical malfunctions and hinders the use of our personal abilities.  The source of the unbalance must quickly be identified in order to put it right as soon as possible.

Digestion also requires energy.  If it is difficult, it will require more energy and the body will feel more tired.  Digestion starts in the mouth.  It is important to chew well each mouthful (at least thirty times) in order for digestion to operate normally.  Enzymes contained in saliva are essential to sugar and fat metabolisms.

All pathologies and diseases tire the body and depress the mind.  The energy spent fighting them and medicines that perturb our metabolisms and stress our liver all result in increased tiredness.

One of the more efficient remedies against illness is rest, all-round rest for our body : sleeping a lot, eating light food, calming our mind, staying in a quiet room, etc.

An unbalanced diet may also cause chronic fatigue, because of too rich food, because of deficiencies, because of irregular meals, because of inappropriate food, etc.  It is then important to proceed as soon as possible to a complete nutritional analysis in order to start building new eating habits.

Returning to a balance, simple and healthy way of eating will produce an immediate beneficial effect on our body and on our general condition.
